A lone Alllied Lend-Lease convoy slogs its way toward Murmansk, USSR. It faces more than Nazi foes: season, weather, the North Atlantic, itself, seemingly conspire to assault, wound, and then to destroy it -oignominiously. To seamen who still sometimes dream about the grim hammer and anvil of war, this tale is related.
